ThunderHawk Canine offers a variety of training programs, allowing us to meet every client’s needs. Whether you just need a little obedience brush up, intense training for a particular job, or problem behavior modification – we are here to help you! In-Board Training

What started out as an intensive program for problem dogs, our In-Board Training Program has become the most successful and popular training option for clients with any pup. When you are hanging out with your dog, every interaction is a learning interaction, and sometimes owners are accidentally teaching behaviors that they don’t particularly appreciate. Our in-board program provides consistency when owners can not. Visit our In-Board Training Page for more details! Cost of In-Board is $125/day or $3250 for our Complete Obedience Package.

Highlights of the program – approximately 4 weeks of training. Motivational Foundation followed by gradual increase of distance, distraction and duration. Week 4 “Out and About Week” where we take your pup into various social settings to make sure things are functional. Unlimited follow-up to ensure you are working together as a team 🙂 On leash reliability of all commands, with off-Leash recalls and stays. A minimum of bi-weekly updates, and visits are welcomed. Please note – our Complete Obedience In-Board Program is generally booked two to three months in advance. It never hurts to see if we have had something open up sooner, but plan ahead to take advantage of this sought after training opportunity.

Day Training Programs

The perfect option for people who want professional guidance each step of the way, but don’t want to spend a lot of time away from their pet!

Drop them off with us during the daytime on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for the duration of the program and enjoy the perks of a tired dog who spent the day learning and being productive.

Our 2 and 4 week Perfect Puppy Foundation Programs are a great way to ensure your puppy gets off to a wonderful start. They work on crate and potty training continuation, motivational introductory obedience, with emphasis on positive exposure, encouraging confidence, and reinforcing the drive to learn. Our two week program is just $725 and our more in depth four week program is $1425.

Looking for something a little more comprehensive or that might be a better option for a more mature dog? Our Complete Obedience Day Train Program could be a great fit for you! Your dog will learn all of the same skill sets as in our popular Complete Obedience Inboard Program at a lower cost and without you having to be away from them for a whole month. This program is 6 weeks long and $2250.

Private Sessions

Private sessions are geared to fit into everyone’s schedule and be very affordable. Sessions conducted at our facility cost just $85/hour. These sessions are perfect for addressing things one on one with a professional trainer. We can help with manners, obedience, problem behavior modification, tracking, protection and other specialty areas. Please visit the Private Sessions Page for more detailed information.

Group Classes

Thunderhawk Canine has been offering group training classes since 2006. We bring a science based philosophy and pair it with functional, real life application to help you have a dog you love to live with! We offer everything from an AKC STAR Puppy Kindergarten (open to all breeds), Basic Obedience and and Intermediate/ Canine Good Citizen / Therapy Dog Prep class….. as well as other specialty classes!
